This Laguiole by Louis Thiers set pairs three cheese knives, each with the famous Laguiole bee on the bolster, with a timber cheese board that has a slide-out timber storage box underneath. The knives are polished stainless steel with riveted acrylic handles, they are dishwasher safe, and the set carries a 24-month warranty. Choose from five handle colourways.
Three cheese knives
A 230mm cheese knife, a 220mm cheese spreader and a 220mm cheese cleaver. Between them they handle hard, semi-soft and soft cheeses.
The Laguiole bee
The bolster of each piece carries the Laguiole bee insignia, the traditional mark of Laguiole-style cutlery.
Mirror-polished steel
The blades are X20Cr13 stainless steel, polished to a deep mirror finish. Laguiole say it is balanced and resists bending in everyday use.
Riveted handles
Moulded acrylic handles are fixed with three steel rivets, in the classic Laguiole style.
Board with a hidden drawer
The timber cheese board has a slide-out timber storage box underneath, so the knives live with the board between uses.
Dishwasher safe
Unlike most cheese sets, the knives are dishwasher safe.
Food-safety tested, 24-month warranty
Laguiole by Louis Thiers cutlery has passed the TÜV Rheinland GRAS (FDA) food safety test, and the set has a 24-month warranty.
