Each coupe is made by hand. Small variations in the wave and in wall thickness are part of how they are made rather than defects.

Borosilicate glass

Borosilicate is the same family of glass used for laboratory and quality bakeware. It is more resistant to thermal shock and noticeably lighter in the hand than standard soda-lime glass.
